I'm starting this thread but unfortunately I won't be participating during the game. I've got defensive driving class all Saturday morning & afternoon. Stupid speed traps. You can listen live to the game on WRVL ... you should be able to log on through this link: boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/liberty/8286/32_liberty-victoryfm_050411.asxIf you are listening along, come to this thread and share your thoughts with others on the board.

I am not planning on listening to the game. I am fearing the worst case senerio. Could be looking at 63-0 all over again. Right now I am not confident enough in teams ability to compete against good competition so why should I waste my time and be down in the dumps after the thing is over with. I will get the score on USA Today website and get the gory details. Got some things to do today so why worry about it. May settle down tonight and watch some games on TV.

They finally have the pre-game on the Flames Network...It's about 3 minutes before kickoff!
I'm not mad...I just wondered if they forgot to pull the switch or something!

Connecticut has done this place up right. Rentschler Field is a gorgeous facility. Student section is full, lots of others still filtering in from the tailgate. I'd say it'll be close to full soon.

For those of you who tuned in for the very brief pre-game show. WRVL airs Sports Spectrum until 12:55 so the pre-game show was only 8 minutes in length...just enough time to get a few comments from players and coaches.

Well, that was unexpected. I like the offense moving the ball...D needs to do better.

1st quarter over 14-0...some positives, though. Terrell as a receiver and option back!!

Well, I guess they were trying to suprise them. I like throwing on first down, trying the fake FG reverse.
That offsides penalty just gave them a 1st

what's up guys, UConn fan (and student here). Hopefully we can blow you guys out early, and put in our back-ups in the 2nd half. At least that way you guys can run some plays and our youngsters can get some experience.

OK. I think Chris is actually at the game (it sounds like it from his post)...he covers LU for our local paper, the News and Advance...but I don't want to bother him while he's working

Raul - glad you could join us. I'm hoping we'll make a game out of it and you guys will have to sweat it out a bit.
However, reality is I hope we can find some positives to take into the YSU game next week.

38-0 at half. This is pathetic. We just don't have the talent to even make this a game. I am not even sure we are going to win some of these big D1-AA games this season.

This is getting so far out of hand. 45-0 At this rate it could be 65-0 by the time the game ends. I am ready for basketball season and UConn just recovered yet another fumble by LU. Now UConn is at the 17 yard line in Liberty territory.
