My fear is that they keep putting Brock Smith in these blowouts...the offensive line can't block...and the kid is going to get hurt before he ever gets a chance. I agree. I think that way about all 3 of the QB's. Farrel looked petrified to move last week against YSU. I think it's a QB's job to be able to take risks-but that's pretty impossible when you're about 99% sure you're going to get rocked. W&M has a huge line too. I think blocking is a huge issue LU has, period. From the radio, it didn't sound like Crouch had much coverage on the punts either. He didn't get any blocked, but I wouldn't assume that it's because he had such great coverage.

Oh how I miss Highschool Baseball Season. I think this Qb thing is so ridiculous, no consistency at all. At least Baseball I was sure Brock would be pitching or at first base. My Mom(Brock's grandma), said that she wished Brock would have just kicked a field goal to get 3 points on the board. In highschool he was our field goal kicker. Can you see we are a little crazy about now..

My mother-in-law's ISP just came back up. I guess I am fortunate to have missed the carnage once again.
I think we are all embarassed by the fact that we are no longer even appearing to be somewhat competitive. I'm sure we'll all feel a little better in the coming weeks playing teams as bad or nearly as bad as we are. But this continues to sting.

Yah bad teams will be welcome. You guys are all so in the know about football. What the heck should they do now? I am so ready for some improvement, but I was wondering what would be the next move if you were coach? I am really wondering this, I am surely not being smart to you guys I mean this when I ask you for your expertise.
