WU falls 73-63.
close as 6 with 2 to play. We got the royal treatment from the refs in the final ten and Darious Washington. They played tough though.

Man, I was really pulling for you guys. Still a great showing for the Eagles. I saw more highlights on CBS and it was 66-60 with 2:45 to play. Nice job none the less.

I think Winthrop's men's b-ball team is in the same situation our girls team was, it's only a matter of time untill they come out on top of some of these big games and when a game or two in the tourney. They already beat Marquette who handed UConn there first lost this week. Just think if Martin had not gone 0 for 9 different outcome maybe....

I knew wintrhop would be good, and although i do not think they are "unbeatable" in the Big South...i just pray LU keeps it within 30. New Div 2 team Palm Beach scored more pts against winthrop that our own league opponet Birm South.

BSC drubs CSU, WU kills UNCA by 25, and it wasn't that close. Houston tied a single game record in blocks with 7. They dunked on Barber like 8 times. It was ridiculous.

Just got back from High Point at VMI! What a crazy game! 100-90 was the final. HPU was up by as much as 28 but VMI got it to within 6 with under 2 minutes. Reggie Williams had 34 and AZ Reid had 26/15 for HPU. The amount of turnovers and Fouls was ridiculous. VMI had 30 TO's and HPU had 24. VMI showed a lot of heart coming back from that deficit but HPU was too good. Liberty is going to have to play well on Saturday night to beat them over there. The Cadets are back and it can get loud in there. The crowd was not huge tonight but I expect a lot of people there for the Liberty game because they don't like us.

HPU pressed and with VMI not really having a true point guard it hurt them. the 2 guards off the bench Travis Holmes and Sean Christensen had 15 turnovers by themselves. Chavis Holmes turned it over 3 times in the first 2 minutes and he shyed away from the ball after that. IMO VMI played the game HPU's way by making it up tempo. Issa Konare had a great game too but he got posterized by Reggie Williams in the first half. It was nasty! And he fouled him on the dunk! Smoothie you missed a good one.
