How about LU Cross Country/TRack star Josh McDougal? As a Freshman he finished 13 in the nation and he just qualified for the US World Cross Country Team. LU coach said he is thankfule for each day he is still at LU because he will probably be offrered a 6 digit contract soon. The amazing thing is that he was homeschooled and this is his first chance to compete on a team.

If Josh has any common sense (and by all indications he does), then he'll keep his amateur status until his NCAA eligibility runs out. That would allow him to compete in the 2008 Olympic Games if he continues to improve.
Its great to see an emerging star in this non-revenue sport begin to make a name for himself and the program.
