So far, all the talk has centered around Tech (and rightly so, seeing how they might have gotten into the BcS title game with a little good fortune), but how about those Hurricanes? I think that the way every single expert was writing them off before the game started was just a joke, and the U' went out and delivered the punch line. I was only slightly shocked at the spectacle, and only because I did not think that Miami was that much better than the Gobblers. But I honestly think this is one of the most underrated teams in Miami history. This is a team that, if it had not been for a horrendous special teams blunder in their first game of the season, would possibly be front and center in the national title picture. As a matter of fact, if the Crimson Tide (not too unlikely, when you consider two extremely loseable games against LSU and particularly the Iron Bowl in the Jungle) and the Longhorns (that little trip to College Station is NEVER a sure thing, no matter how good Texas is) both stumble, I would not be surprised to see those ugly behind-the-back stripes in the Rose Bowl again.
