I'm not sure if you still post here but here's an interesting idea for you on the court. I was watching an NIT game last night and I saw this in SC I thought the lane looked sharp and somewhat flame like. Obviously change the color but you get the idea. It might be too busy if we're going for a classic look but I liked it.

is it my crappy computer screen or does the key do a fade from red to black?

No, that's what it's doing. Which is what I'm pointing out. That's the best picture I could find.

Prototype just needs to put that sweet logo in the middle of the court and call it a day!

Personally I think it looks like they ran out of Black paint. I don't like the two tone fade - looks like San Diego State's football helmets!.
Go with the prototype version minus "The Furnace" on the baselines!
Call me with any questions!

good concept- I'd like to see a fade from yellow to orange to red. maybe PROTO would mock that up for us

Good find! We'll see what we can do. That gradient would be hard to paint...maybe cost more $$$...but i like it. We'll get back to on it...

thanks bro- good to see you guys back on here, know you're probably busy. SUGGESTION: What better way to kick off a new ad campaign for the new AD, having the only local team still in the tourney!

maybe it's the lunch that i ate...but i'm not sure where you're going with that...
You suggest an ad campaign for the new ad?

Me likey the color transition concept. I think that looks better than the other ideas of filling in the arc and such. While working in some yellow/orange with the red would give it more of a Flames feel, the way it is shown looks sharp to me.
Who would've thought we'd get an idea from the Gamecocks?

You suggest an ad campaign for the new ad? it was my poor choice of phrasing: I was attempting to suggest a PR blitz on the back of the ladies' success, and it would coincide w/ the arrival of our new AD- ie; new beginning/future of LU sports and sports marketing. Better?

I don't think yellow would look good at all on the court. Our colors are red, white, and blue. Yellow would kind of clash with that.
