Not official, but Coach Sam Rutigliano is on campus, in the mansion. We may know our next athletic director. This matches up with what I have been hearing for over a week.

As of 3:20, he was not meeting with the team. On campus, but not with the team.

If he's not the AD, he is involved in the selection process. I was shocked when another poster in this thread brough his name up to me back at the time of the firings.

I dont mind a "consultant" role, but come on. Please, Please say it aint so that he would be the new AD!!!!

I don't think Sam would even consider anything more than a consultant role at this point in time unless it were in a temporary capacity until a permanent hire could be made. We may have this all wrapped up VERY quickly.
