Back in the Reagan admininstration, the Great Communicator made a speech where he noted the economic success of the nation by the Dow Jones reaching "the magic 1000 plateau". At the time, it was considered unbelievably high. Any financial wizrds on this board probably get a real chuckle out of that these days. After reaching this milestone, the market exploded tenfold over the next decade or so.
Perhaps this board is following a similar pattern. After just a smattering of posts when it was created nearly a year ago, this past fall the board really took off. But the good news is that as word of its existence spreads, the growth could actually multiply.
Bottom line, the best is yet to come.

I noticed the 4000th post yesterday. Now that we are starting to show up on search engines, I have a feeling the traffic will increase even more this fall during football.

6100+ posts, 108 members: and football season hasn't started yet. We need to have this on the "favorites" list of every web browser on campus.
ATrain/HMO/whomever is on campus, thats your assignment for the fall semester.

From 1000 in January to the BIG 10K sometime earlier this AM. Thanks to MARK for the push and to SLY for all his dedication to our "taken-way-too-seriously" hobby that may well be the death of me.

It's the game threads. That's what racks up the posts.

Ok, maybe not.
But it's growing because I'm an idiot and post stupid crap all the time.

We? I just have like 106 or something. You're the one with almost 2500. I don't think this is a "we" statement...
