You know, of the four professional teams I give loyalty to, three of them are trying to make this a darned fine year for me. And of those three, at the start of their respective seasons, I only expected the Panthers to give me something to cheer for. What a great year.

It's time for the Boston Bruins to win the cup. Bring back Bobby Orr!

I thought it was gonna be some type of message to us students on how to be successful when we get into the professional world.
I'm glad it's not.

and BTW watch out for the carolina hurricanes. the "new" NHL is suiting them just fine! 9 in a row as of tonight, that's right. And wouldn't you know that Staal scored the winning goal? So awesome.

staalsy is the man. if he continues this breakout season, the canes need to re-negoitiate his contract! he is the key to the youth movement, keeping him in carolina should be a top priority. the additions of stillman, cullen, whitney and teverdodsky are key too. this is more than likely the fastest team in the NHL! do you get to the RBC Center much el scorcho? i try to get to every game if im not working.

If I lived closer, I'd definitely be going more often, but I've driven Lynchburg to the Triangle so many times now that I'm a bit tired of it. It was very fun, but hard for me to believe it wasn't a sell-out given the early season success they're having.

The league still has some bridges to be rebuilt after taking the sport away for so long. Sellouts aren't common most anywhere around the league right now. Give it some time.
BTW I like the crib the Hurricanes call home. Its a very nice smaller arena in comparison to most NBA buildings that other NHL teams call home.

The RBC Center is a great hockey venue...very loud, but a basketball arena it blows. i think nc state lost their home court advantage when they moved from reynolds coliseum. and BTW medic, your "bullies" got punk'd by the canes a few weeks ago!

I guess after 9 wins in a row we deserved to have a goal scored against us for each one tonight. Sheesh. Still, I'll take a loss for every nine wins.

FLY-guys score w/ a BLAST from the blue line (nearly) w/ 3 SECONDS left to win the 9th straight at home- I believe we're 11-4 now.
