Just added to the collection an authentic 2005 Flames replica mini helmet. Has the BigSouth bumper on the front, NCAA and American flags and BSC logo on the back, full cage mask - sweet!
Full size replica helmet from the 80's. Bought a University of Arizona helmet and removed the decals on the side. Striping pattern was the same on LU's helmets during the Hout years and - wala - another piece for the office.
83,84,85,86,88,95,96,97,98,99,00,01,02,03,04, qnd soon to have 05 football media guides. I almost forgot - I have a 1976 media guide as well for football. I have basketball guides from 2002 on.
Flames stadium cup with the old logo. Wife accidently put it in the dishwasher so now it's a little faded (if anybody has any they want to get rid of help a brother out).
Not a ton of stuff yet. I am curious what some of you other guys have. I'm thinking of moving all of this stuff from the office to the Flames room in the basement. Any ideas?

I have a few pair of throw back shorts....Not the ones I wore (way too obscene) but from the mid 90's. They are still pretty sweet but I don't wear them. Maybe I will put them on this weekend when I visit LaHaye to work out. Can't wait to get back home this weekend!

five X !! The reason I asked you the other day about the color of the original football helmet is that I am in the process of trying to re-create every Flames football helmet (either mini size or full size). The original one will be easy to make.

Guys,
Thanks for posting this thread. You sent me on a treasure hunt, and I have been able to locate some things, I fogot I had. Among them are:
1980 Football and Basketball schedule on the back of a brocure to join the Scholarship Foundation Association, the forerunner of the Flames Club.
1973-74 Football and Basketball Schedule. On the back it says "A Sports Outreach of Thomas Road Baptist Church."
Two ticket stubs for a football game played by LBC and Elon College September, 18th 1976. Tickets were $3.00 face value for GA.
My Football Scholarship Grant in Aid dated May 30, 1973 for a full ride.
Several newspaper articles from the Lynchburg News and The Daily Advance (maybe this was before it was called the N&A?) Mostly about the baseball team and one in particular about Coach Worthing employing his bottle cap and broomstick batting practice drill.
A Friday, November 23, 1973 newspaper article proclaiming the death of Coach Rock Royer in a plane crash in Evergreen, Alabama. As those who knew him would guess, he was returning to his home in Tampa, Fl after speaking to a church group. Sad day in the history of LU sports.
Still looking to see if I have any uniforms, but I am not sure. Everyone have a good week.
Since I complained in an earlier thread about not being contacted about re-joining the Flames Club, I guess I should also say that Dr. Thoms called my house this past week thanking my wife and I for our past support of the Flames Club. I also got my invitation in the mail, (it was dated July 28th for some reason), so I guess I will join again tomorrow, even though I will probably not be able to attend any games this year because of work. It is for a good cause. All of us should join. Go LU.

I'd like to go on record here to say that I think Dr. Thoms is GREAT and I have NO PROBLEMS w/ ANYONE in administration at LU. Which I love. And respect. (this has nothing to do with the fact that I am trying to get my old transcripts and it now seems evident that the higher ups read this forum regularly. Really. Just little ol' me, speaking from the heart here. I love Jerry. GO FLAMES.)

flameshaw --- If you have access to a scanner, you really ought to post pics of your stuff. That would really be cool for some of us on here.

Will see what I can do. You have to remember, they didn't have computers when I was in school and I am somewhat challenged in this area.

Should see if I can find my sideline pass from the Citrus Bowl when we played CFU back in '94. I have about 20 shimmels and pratice shorts.

I recently bought a 1981 LBC Football Media Guide off of ebay. I have 2 notebooks of Flames sports cards. I have 50 Different players (most are minor league cards) but several from NFL, CFL and now WNBA.
