Sorry for the semantics, but did you all notice that the logo above the number on the front of the Lady Flames jerseys was the old logo. The new logo was shown by the score, but didnt show up to well on my TV. Any opinions?

The girls wore a "throw-back" jersey persay for the tourney. Which obviously had the older logo on it. And I have heard the guys are getting a Red Alternate jersey for the next season to. But thats why the old logo was there.

LU Fan - a throwback for the tourney makes absolutely no sense! An alternate third jersey is fine, but that is cart before the horse! When you are struggling with identifying a brand or brand recognition - there is no place for an alternate third jersey unless it reinforces your brand. Even the big schools dont have alternate third jerseys! That is just crazy that LU would do that - COME ON!

To complete my rant - why the heck is our school abbreviated LIB? Give me LU! Who the heck is LIB?

seeing the old logo on the jerseys made me wish we had kept it. I had accepted the new one but tonight I took a step back. The old logo has a certain cheesy element to it that brings back fond memories even though we need to move forward with the branding effort!

I think the red jerseys look sharp though on TV...but it is weird to have the old logo on it when you are on national tv...it does hurt the branding of the new logo
