I just thought I'd start this thread so the Coastal people can have a place to trash us. You got us good, what was the final score, something like 33-6?
But, as a former member of LU's marching band, I heard that LU's band made the trip to the game. At least they're good!

Well most of us are pretty respectable - hate to be poor winners. But I am even surprised how much we dominated - I thought it would be much closer. It was 33-6 with your lone TD by a 97 kickoff return  It was a nice return. Your band was pretty awesome though - much better than ours. |

Well, your band has only had two years...it takes awhile to build interest. When I was in LU's band, we were only about 1/3 the size of what it is now.

We flat out sucked. Congratulations on coming so far so fast. You flat out dominated us.
That said, there's not excuse why we should be getting dominated by Coastal Carolina. No excuse.

Seriously, before the season I honestly thought we would win at our place -- but not quite like that. From what I can see, Liberty has major QB issues, there's hardly anyone healthy enough to run the ball (i.e. taking off Barnes' medical redshirt), the receivers drop too many passes, and several times you guys let us off the hook with silly mistakes.
And we played the best game we've ever played. Hands down. Now our question is what can we do this week at G-W.

We just had our train on the track and the Flames didn't. I tried to warn you guys that you may make the same mistake we did against Newberry. Good luck the rest of the way Flamers. Don't worry, you'll get your revenge on us in basketball.  |
