another one for ya. Greiser hasn't been given the ball consistently!
LOL- not that I'm drawing the obvious conclusion here. Hopefully the Frosh RBs get to watch and learn (?), stay healthy- and contribute for several years.

Medic: Greiser hasn't touched the ball yet this year. Fluellen carried it four times at UConn, but Greiser hasn't gotten off the bench.

Let's keep Greiser there if we can. At this point we need to be looking toward the future. I'm still a little stunned we pulled the shirt off Brock Smith.

INSTEAD of NONE! (tongue-in-cheek)

1) What's so special about Grieser? 2) Are we trying to redshirt him?

the Greiser thing is a long running (well, since the summer anyway) joke between me, SLY and the other guys posting regularly all summer.
Ryan is a very promising RB from my local HS- I've been faithfully posting pix, stats, and lobbying for all sorts of ridiculous things for him.
He should probably be a RSF to give him the extra year. According to conventional wisdom- anyway, as he's still learning. We may need him this year though.

Greiser did come in with some impressive credentials ... even if they were at the subpar Eastern PA level. He had some bigtime options and chose us in order to go to a Christan school.
Now that we're nearly a third of the way through the season, I'd prefer we keep a redshirt on him. I'm still shaking my head about Brock Smith losing his for a couple of plays Saturday.

Just trying to add some levity to a board that seems like it is about to blow. ;D

Let me digress/hijack this thread for a minute: in spite of the arguments, this board is REALLY turning into something special. For those who DON'T frequent all the other boards in D1AA, ours is very comprehensive- w/ some wacky threads no one else can even come close to, and everyone (for the most part) is polite and respectful.
I really enjoy dropping in here and getting updated on whats going on down at LU- its rekindled my interest after 15 years.
So keep up the good work- this place is a LOT of fun- as long as no one takes offense to this smack type stuff, we'll be fine!
