I want to start by saying I don't see this affecting us in any fashion. But since High Point is a Big South member I thought I'd pass along the rumor I stumbled across on the Elon board:

Allegedly Campbell is considering making the move to non-scholie I-AA as well after watching Davidson make the move. Again, it likely will have no impact on us unless we schedule them for an early season blowout to boost morale and confidence a few years down the road.

They just tore down the old football stadium and are building a new one. Word is, they are to annouce the start of a non-scholarship football team in the next few weeks.
