Intense battle today, potent offense, strong run defense for the most part........visions of things to come??? I understand that the coordinators were in suits, what was C. Rocco's roll today? And what impact could this have into LU's future? I am pumped!

uh medic, minnesota had the top rushing attack in the big ten, and i believe was #1 or 2 in total offense. they just had a very bad defense. congrats to coach rocco, and full steam ahead for liberty football.

Minnesota was 7-5 overall, 4-4 in conf and got blown out by JoePa and the boys 44-14. Color me unimpressed, regardless of statistics.

oh please. A fluke play with 1 second left in the game, and Michigan /Penn State is ALWAYS a huge game, both teams always get amped up.
50 bucks says the Wolverines slept thru that game. Minnesota who? Nice game by UVa though, decent competition for 2 similarly matched mediocre teams! LOL
;D ;D ;D kidding SMOOTHIE!

Color me as unimpressed with winning in the Big Ten as I am with the ACC.

Which conference impresses?
Big Ten top three vs. ACC top three (BCS ave.) Penn State .9187 FSU .7037 Ohio State .8559 VTU .6715 Wisconsin .3021 Miami.7037 Total=2.0767 2.0879 #3PSU?#22FSU? #3PSU?#22FSU? #4OSU34#5ND20 #12VT35#15Lou24 #21Wis24#7Aub10 #9Miami3#10LSU40
I would say pretty comparable competition. Would you be willing to let tomorrow night's game determine conference superiority? (psu vs fsu)

I think you are missing the point, madmat. Neither league is all that.

its certainly not the big 12! the sec is showing they are not that, so at this point the pac-10, acc, and big 10 are the conferences that are showing the best, no matter who is in the national championship game. it is the body of work, not one game.

Yeah, winning national championships mean nothing. At least the ACC showed mighty South Florida who is boss.

nice comeback sly......and kansas really pounded CUSA member houston in the fort worth bowl! just take your medicine sly, the big 12 sucks this year. BTW the only head to head ACC/BIG 12 battle...clemson beat colorado ;D

As a Big East apologist, South Florida has a might 7 years DIA experience. They had zero offense against NC State, but were not out of the game by any means. All Big East schools were competitive with the big win coming from WVU over an over rated Georgia team. Louisville would have beaten VT if it werent for them having to play their backup QB who was a third stringer last year.

I'm still weak. And nauseaous. After the missed FGs I had to go to my patented "turn the game off now and when you wake up in the morning it will all be ok".
It worked. I swear I'm a jinx.

Medic, im sure you were sick most of the game last night, but a good win for psu. you guys really dominated that game and it should not have gone to overtime from everything i read and heard about while driving last night.

Hey speaking of VT vs 'ville, I'd like to hear ATrain and his VT banner talk about Marcus Vick. He's worse than most NBA nutjobs.

That was some awful football to watch. Let's hope we have a much better played game tonight. I love ya brother, but that may be the single most idiotic post you've come up with in the last yr (+) that I've been on here. It was a great game, a snot-knocker with blood in the trenches. I was a nervous wreck. Bowden and co. wanted it BAD, and only the fact that PSU is a very talented team enabled them to persevere. Take your freakin' TX goggles off for once a be a TAD objective- there is life (and talented football) outside of your state man. *If you were attempting to be witty I apologize.
