is anyone tired of this character or what??? my feelings are he is a complete cancer for the locker room, and is a big baby! don't get me wrong one of the top receivers in the NFL, but his last tirade has put the nail in the coffin for me. i hope he sits out all year. the NFL will get along fine without him, and i think the eagles could still do OK without him. just wondering everyone's thoughts on "terrible owens".

makes me wanna puke if you really want my opinion. The worst was that (blankety blank) agent of his who screamed at anyone who would listen: " the man DESERVES to be paid, he PUTS HIS LIFE ON THE LINE EVERY DAY". Let me tell you, as a Paramedic/Fire Fighter/Haz Mat tech w/ MANY cop friends on the job, I take ENORMOUS offense to that crap.
I put my life on the line every day for less (per YEAR) than he makes PER GAME. and if I have to hear "It's UNFAIR" from either TO or his goon one more time I'm going thru the TV at him. My 6 yr old whines less.
I just change the channel every time I see him now, as do most of us in the Philly area. THANKS FOR NOTHING you friggin jerk.
and thats how I really feel , thank you.

He's only doing what is in line with the years of pampering and coddling to his ego & mind.
Frankly, I think he is overrated as a player. He's no better than the 3rd or 4th best receiver in the league ... at best.
Nobody had a gun to his head when he signed the contract. If he doesn't like what he's getting paid he should quit.
All that said, the eagles knew exactly what they were getting after he pulled the stunt with the Ravens. They knew he had the potential to become the nuisance that he is now. Now they are reaping what they've sown.

I was in Philly this weekend and couldn't find anyone that was on TO's side at this point. Couldn't turn on the TV without seeing something about him. I was on his side in the beginning because I do think it is unfair the way football is structured. The owners have all the leverage. But TO has gone about this all wrong. I hope he comes back Wed and flies right. If not the Eagles are still the best team in the NFC. We will get back to the SuperBowl I think with or without 81.

Greg Lewis and LJ (my man) Smith looked pretty good last night, and Donovan is, well- Donovan. By the way, the last poll was something like:

I'll refrain from commenting on TO since this is the liberty board.
Eagles best in NFC? Maybe if TO comes back, but doubtful. The Panthers are going back to the superbowl.

yeah, for some reason special teams ALWAYS seem to start to the season off rough EVERY YEAR. Last year was horrendous 'til halfway thru the season. Hope they don't take that long this year to wake up.
