Don't count those chickens quite yet.
My wife & I scored tickets for Game Four. We'll be sitting just a few rows up from the rightfield fairpole.
Its a rarity that we ever get to go to a game of any kind as fans instead of as work. And while some of you may not think there's much of a difference, I can assure you there is on multiple levels.

Hey Sly if someone hits a homerun or hits the ball in that direction then try to wave or something. I will be watching the game and I will look for you on television.

Yeah, I'll be the only one waing at the game. It appears we may be witnessing firsthand a historic celebration for you Chisox fans if Brandon Backe can't conjure some magic tonight. I'm jazzed to be there with my wife no matter what goes down. We rarely get to do these types things to together. I'm always in thepressbox supposedly acting professionally. ;D

Backe found some magic. The Sox just happened to find some of their own, I guess. I don't care what ESPN says, it was a great series.

Congrats. The White Sox played better and got their just rewards.
As for Backe, he has a history of pitching like that in big games. His troubles are that he has difficulty mustering the adrenaline to throw like that all the time. Garner's getting roasted down here for pulling Brandon too early (among other things).

I was pulling for the STROS. I always like the underdog. If it had been St. Louis or Atlanta representing the National League then I would have pulled for the White Sox. The last couple of years it has been great to see new teams in there like the Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Redsox and the Chicago White Sox. Maybe next year we will see Pittsburgh or the Chicago Cubs or maybe even the Colorado Rockies.
On the Rockies they have a lot of great young talent in their farm system and of course the National League west is week at the moment. You never know. Maybe it would be great if the Astros come back next year and win it all.
