It appears Stephon continues to work his old Houston area ties.
Al Reynolds, a 6' 2" junior combo guard from Aldine Nimitz HS here in Houston is scheduled to take an official visit on October 2nd according to my friend Jim Hicks at rscsports.com. I saw him play once last season and he seemed pretty smooth with the ball. He certainly has some quicks.
There are also several other kids down here that list Liberty among their favorites.

Another Houston area guard who is likely to visit in the coming weeks is Ryan McCoy of Houston Madison HS. The 6' 0" point is the 16th-ranked player in Greater Houston according to RCS Sports. Before you think that's not very impressive, keep in mind that Houston is one of the most fertile recruiting ground sin the country. Generally around 25-30 players sign Division I each year from the area. Thankfully, Asst. Coach Stephon Leary used to coach AAU ball here before joining the Liberty staff. And his connections continue to work for us.
Jim Hicks of RCS Sports quotes Ryan's mother as saying he is down to three finalists: Tulsa, North Texas and LU. He apparently heads up to Okieland next weekend.
Madison is better known for producing football talent like Texas QB Vince Young and Texas A&M RB Courtney Lewis. But all 26 Houstin Independent School District high schoolsare laoded with great athletes.

Reynolds is allegedly leaning toward UNC-Wilmington of all places. But nothing is firm as of yet.

McCoy has just committed to Tulsa. We're close on some quality kids. We just need to close the deal on a couple.
