This board needs more traffic. I don't do anything at work all day and I need more people to post. It's like I'm talking to myself. You're lucky if you get a reply even if people read it. Anyway just a rant. Can you get listed in more search engines or something? I'm not even sure if that would do it.

When I first set up this board, I sent out an e-mail to as many Liberty alumni groups I could find. I am open to any suggestions that anyone has to drive traffic to this site. I agree that the more posters there are, the better the board will be.
As far as making the site more internet search friendly, I will also take suggestions there.

Believe it or not, LUconn. This is actually building fairly nicely as far as posters are concerned. I have a feeling that we will be getting a while new group of posters with basketball starting up. For some reason, hoops tends to bring out the passion online that Big South football cannot generate.
Hang in there and we'll do our best to direct more people here.
Keep in mind, the LU administration would never want to do anything to promote a site where there directiona dn decisions are called into play. So we have to promote this location through other means. Please spread the word to others who you think might want to join the fray.

Another perspective here: many out of state alum, such as myself, that aren't really connected to campus any more (15+ years after leaving Lynchburg) still check in as often as possible. Though I don't usually post, its a great way for me to keep in touch w/ what's going on down there. If that so-called campus paper still exists, maybe the sports people could print the address to this site- though I am SURE the admin would NOT approve: free speech and all...

I was actually gonna see if I could get them to put it in print. It would just take 1 time for people to catch on. The champion online site changed though and it doesn't give any email addresses of the editors or anything. I guess I'll have to actually pick up a copy.

The Champion is online? Wow! That's a vast improvement from the cheesy little paper they had back in the Late '80s.
If you are able to get a hold of an editor (or reporter for that matter), trying pitching the website as a story idea. The hook being the opportunity to show that Liberty athletics are generating enough interest to merit its own message board.
I would do it myself, but those journalism profs always hated us broadcasting types. Particularly those of us who bypassed their classes and still managed to be successful journalists nonetheless.

No one likes to talk about Liberty, except people who have gone to school there!! I'm on another message board that I love to waste time on if you are interested. It is www.motownsports.com . It has a place called the motownsports bar and grill (along with other boards) and is pretty fun to discuss general things on if you don't like to talk sports all the time (It has good sports boards as well) Check it out if you are bored sometime!

Welcome aboard, belcherboy. But after perusing the site you suggested, I have some advice for the city of Detroit:
STAY AWAY FROM BELTRAN ... HE'S OURS TO STAY HERE IN HOUSTON!
Seriously, however you found this place we are glad you are here.
