Can't you at least feign some modesty? Very nicely done across the board, WEF. Thanks for sharing it with us here.

WEF that is a lot of pressure on Marshall and his crew to win every conference game. You don't realize how tough that is. On a given night anyone can beat anyone in the Big South. Go back and look at a few of the close calls Winthrop had last year. I have not gotten my Big south Media Guide for this year yet but I think they could lose a few conference games this year. They will be good though. I just know how tough it is when you are such a heavy favorite and they are not that much better IMO than the rest of the conference on a given night. We shall see. I know Gregg Marshall well and I am one of the few people at Liberty to give him some love so don't see this comment as hating. Of course I want Liberty all the way but if Winthrop can represent the Big South better then they will have deserved it. I still would have liked to see what Liberty would have done if we could have survived the CSU game. Good luck this year. It should be exciting again. You have to like your chances though I am not gonna lie.

Yeah, the 16-0 prediction is probably a bit on the bold side, and I will be the first one to say that it is very tough to run the table in any league. But I figured if it ever is going to happen in this league, it will be this year, so I put it out there....but I've been wrong plenty of times before (like picking High Point to win the conference last year), so who knows.

Scar, you're right in that it is tough to win every conference game. They might lose one, but I would be shocked if they lose more than two. They won by an average of double digits last year in conference, which clearly shows they are that much better than the rest of the conference. Aside from the early conference games, the ccu loss where Gaynor played like a freshmen, and the close one with LU where Shuler was out, there wasn't really any nailbiters, and down the stretch they were blowing people out every game. Couple that with a lot of turnover on other squads and everyone returning, and it's not that bold of a prediction. Hopefully somone else will step up and play well to better the league and give WU some competition, but this year I don't see it.
