I looked at some of the information on the new recruits and I think that they did okay but not great. I believe the previous 2 years were better. Maybe LU is just looking to fill there roster and hope that someone exceeds expectations. There latest recruit was recruited by some major conference teams and the guy from Lanmark Christian could have some potential but you never really know at this point. Of course I am only going with what is on paper.

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed to. When Dunton came on board he brought in Gabe Martin, Ryan Mantlo and the very hyped Monceaux right off the bat. The next year he lands a the top recruit we've ever gotten in Larry Blair. I guess I was expecting him to keep doing this. Maybe these guys are better than advertised though. I mean Emeka Okafor wasn't in the top 100 either when Uconn got him. Not saying that these guys will turn into that calibur of player but they could have a huge upside that we haven't read about.

A very nice article. The only question that I have is what is the calibre of competition is Temple Baptist going up agains't. 29-1 is great but will it prepare this guy for Division 1 hoops. He definately needs to add some pounds if he intends to play power forward at the next level.

interesting quote from the champion:
“I did not really know anything about the Bible before I came here,” said Risher. “I got saved in September, so I was really excited about that. I had a lot of stress before that, but now life is going a lot easier.”
