This one is really off topic, but I share nonetheless. You may already be familiar with some of this stuff, but I figured I'd share nonetheless. Here are a couple of cool sites where you can download software in order to watch televsion stations from around the world. First off, a couple of Chinese sites where they stream P2P a number of American channels including ESPN & NBAtv: www.ppstream.com/bin/ppstreamsetup.exe www.pplive.com/PPLive seems to work better. I stumbled across these because many Rockets fans want to be able to see games online here in Houston when they aren't near a TV. Since Yao Ming is a like a god in China, all his games are televised over there. So this gives everyone a way to watch for free. Here are some more ... some are better than others: tv.net9.org/ www.sopcast.org/ wwitv.com/broadband/44.htm www.wi-fitv.com/sectional.php?channel=21

Some require downloads which are all in Chinese. But those tend to be the best ones as far as quality goes.
The wi-fitv.com site requires no downloads but doesn't give you as strong of a stream. I have found this all a kick in the pants. I love watching foreign television.

I'm sorta surprised the gov't over there allows Western TV without censoring it: considering how restrictive they are of all things related to freedom of expression. Maybe turning over a new leaf?
