grm: "Randy Dunton is a man of the strongest Christian Character"
flameshaw: "he went directly to Jerry, while still working for Jeff & tried to undermind his boss"
seems we have a contradiction here. Which of these two statements represents TRUTH. (Maybe we could get a former LU athletics director to settle the debate. I am sure they would have the inside scoop. Or perhaps SCAR and his vast LU connections/experiences could offer us some insight)

I'm going to get yelled at for adding fuel to the fire but everything I have heard gives credibility to the second statement.
I can't speak of the heart of the man... but the mouth can be a bit foul and the guy who said he isn't friendly was on target. The handful of times I have approached him it was like Bobby Knight... and that isn't the average personality at LU to say the least. Day and night of Carey Green and most of the coaches. He doesn't seem very popular with some of the athletic staff either (game workers etc.)
I was here for part of the Hankinson era and most people thought he needed to go but it seemed like everyone liked him... he just couldn't win his way out of a wet paper bag.
Oh and I promise I will register ASAP... keep forgetting.

That's actually pretty funny, Realist. I like seeing you show a sense of humor.
Guys, I think we have all beat this horse dead beyond recognition. So let's move on. Further discussion will only drag out points already made by both sides of this topic. So I am going to go ahead and lock this thread.
