Anyone see the crazy finish in Durham last night? Tech had the game one until the official (LU Alum) added time to the clock. I can't stand Duke fans. urghhh!!!!!!!

After the carnage in the ACC Championship game Saturday, I figured I wouldn't pile on with this painful moment for the Hokies.

They game isn't won until there is no time on the clock. Period. Even with one second left, that's time enough for a lob, catch and shoot. I'm not arguing that the extra 6 tenths didn't help, but even so, its hard to say that Dockery wouldn't have done the same thing from 10 feet further away.

That was some pretty amazing defense by the Hokies. That guy practically moved out of the way for Dockery's shot.

I would have done the same thing. That is a very low percentage shot and you don't want to risk fouling him on that especially at Duke because it will get called...I like Duke but I know they get the benefit of the doubt from the officials a lot. Didn't see Karl Hess at time to the clock because I saw the replay while I was working out in LaHaye on Sunday night but you can't take away the fact that Dock hit a 45 footer in the clutch. Big time shot!

I understand not hacking somebody, but you should at least put your hands up. Weak.

From what I understand, Karl is actually one of the few refs that doesn't cut the dookies any breaks. And I also didn't think he was assigned to do their games anymore. I've seen him give old foul mouth K a few technicals.
PS. it's not every day you see the fans of a number 1 team rushing the court after beating an unranked opponent at home. They should be proud.
