I know we are close to sewing up the 2 seed, but we really need to take care of business in these final few games to lock it down.
And it would be very pleasing to yours truly to see our boys make that mountain goat path trip up 501 tonight and come back with a victory over those overprivileged spoiled brats in costume.
If anybody on this board is making the trip, be sure to give us a postgame recap.

Ouch! Suddenly, that 2 seed isn't exactly a lock. I hate losing to VMI.

well, so much for that. As predicted, the game we had real potential to lose- we did. By 6.
I felt that winning as many games recently by such close margins would surely lead to losing one by the same. Just too much sloppy play? Wasn't there and couldn't get the feed on the net, so am just taking a guess here? Anyone make the game that can expain?

Good call PAMedic, you really are psychic. At least we can take two things away from the VMI game - one, Brian Woodson had 26 points, and two, David Dees didn't play. I'd rather rest Dees against VMI than have him play less than 100 percent come tourney time.

will this REALLY affect conf standings/BSC tourney seeds? barring an LU collapse, I think not.

I heard Leo hurt his arm at the end of the game. If that's true, that could be very bad.
I don't like the loss but a 6 point loss on the road without our best player (or second best, it's debatable) isn't the end of the world.

Correct, Mr. Lightbourne injured his arm at the end of the game. He was down for quite some time. This might be a disasterous turn of events for the Flames.

I don't know how this affects the standings.
Leo got hurt with like 6 seconds left!!
Um...looks like if the banged up LU can somehow pull off a win over Radford, we'd lock up that 2nd seed.
But I think it we really need to win the Radford game, because I don't think LU can go to UNC Asheville and pull one off with the way they're playing and with all the injuries.
At least I heard that LU has the tie-breaker over High Point...but I'm not sure what would happen if UNC Asheville and LU tied for 2nd.
LU's 9-5...High Point & UNC Asheville are 7-6.

Loosing to VMI, home or away would be considered unacceptable as far as I'm concerned considering but considering our injuries and considering the atmosphere at VMI could be intimidating, tough place to play. We desparetely need to beat Radford.
