Talk about a great bunch of guys! I posted a note on the ORU message board Sunday offering them support in the NIT and congradulations on their 04-05 season. To register on the board you have to give your location - before you can post. Well I got an e-mail yesterday from one of ORU assistant coaches saying he had gotten my info from a friend who runs the message board and since I was close to College Park he could hook me up with some of the team's tickets for the game - behind the ORU bench.
My 4 year old son and I are headed down to College Park tomorrow night. We'll be pulling for ORU.
The point is as Flames fans we can never miss the opportunity to promote our program and when given the chance to get others involved we should!

Harrisbg, that is a great story. That is the type of outreach that is very appreciated but doesn't get done as often as it should by most. ORU is smart to try to convert fans that way. Have fun at the game. The Comcast Center is a great place to watch a game. Our Lady Flames get to play there on Sunday.

If anyone in Division I athletics should feel a kindred spirit with Liberty it is ORU. That's a cool story.

That is absolutely tremendous. I was pulling for the ORU men, but was sad to see the loss on the ridiculous three pointer in the last seconds by Oakland. Maybe our athletic department could take a cue from them....

ORU really took care of us last night. We were on the floor right behind the bench sitting with the families. My son spent the night flirting with Coach Sutton's 4 year old daughter.
ORU is loaded for next year - they have some talent no doubt.
