high school was so long ago for us that I really don't remember anyone on his team except a guy named Frank Hackett who went to Liberty and used to tell everyone I was holding his MVP trophy for him. He was the top scorer in the state in front of Lionel Simmons and a few other notables but I was in the top 10 myself but my team won championships. I don't even think their team won any games. Medic had graduated from high school a couple of years earlier. I still talk to Hackett from time to time via email. Great guy. We were good friends even though we were rivals. Well I think both teams have to win to call it a rivalry (Tony Kornheiser said that) so he was an opponent. Medic told us on an earlier thread last week that he is nowhere near 6 feet so I don't know how good he could be Smooth. He could probably take me now though.

Let me put it this way: PAmedic - 5'5" SCAR - 6' gazillion.
the PAmedic took a beating as a PG for that one year and switched to the wrestling team where he was much better suited.
And SCAR, I was actually 2 yrs behind you and Frank. (I think)

I'm glad my momentary lapse of thinking provided such a heartwarming conversation on the high school glory days of a couple of old hags.

You definitely have a face for radio because your head couldn't fit on my 63 inch DLP TV. The TV cameras don't have a big enough zoom for color commentating.

GOAT, you have me at my desk rolling with laughter. 63 inch TV joke was killing me. Maybe one day they will make a screen big enough for my dome. Funny stuff....Goat I heard you also had some skills in Football and would have played 2 sports at Liberty...til they tried to order a helmet for you and had to get that joint custom made! The logo was all stretched out and distorted and stuff (you knew I had to strike back).

Actually, Hightower is going through the Willowridge stage right now. All the talent has moved on to the newer schools. DJ will basically be the lone star for the Hurricanes (talk about your irony there). Marshall looks to be the powerhouse in Ft. Bend ISD again this season. If any of you guys have the coaching staff's ear, one of the top PGs in the country for 2007 has landed at Scar's (WHOOPS) old high school in NW Houston, Cypress Community Christian. His name is Biko Davis and the kid is apparently amazing. I had given everyone a heads up about one of his teammates earlier this summer. But we need to be on this kid right away even though he'll have a number of marquee options. Sly, The head coach at Marshall, Gary Nicholas use to be Head man at Willowrigde he led them to the state championship with Ansu Seesay, and Leeland "Paco" Redmand in 93-94, he left the following year 94-95 my freshman year 28-8 to go to Fort Bend Austin, then to North Shore, now Marshall. He doesn't stay places long except Willowridge I think he was there 12 years.

Scar, did you have to hold your graduation cap in your hand when you graduated from Liberty? I heard they attached an elastic string around your graduation cap so it could fit on like a birthday hat underneath your chin.

OK GOAT, if you ever retire from the financial business, you always have a spot on the comedy circuit. People always thought of you as quiet and reserved but I know better.
