McNeese St. road win over So. Miss 87-82. Too bad we are not at full strength because it seems we are not that far away from finding positives and the injuries and no Risher certainly puts the Flames in a tougher spot. Lipscomb got a good win against Gardner-Webb 70-58. I am rooting for a home victory against a hot High Point squad

If you don't know by now Risher is ineligible for the rest of the season. Can you say PJ Tucker? What ashame? There is no reason for a college athlete to be ineligible to many resources. I don't blame the coaches I blame the kids. Purpose of playing college basketball is to get an education.

man, that is silly. This is year 2 that we lose a PG due to academics. I don't know that I'm that comfortable with Hubbard handling the ball exclusively. I think if he himself were comfortable doing it, we'd have something that nobody else in the Big South could match up with. The BS's version of Shaun Livingston. Tough to gaurd, tough to shoot over.

I hadn't heard that it was final, GOAT. Watching them play without him at McNeese showed how desperately we need someone to step up at the point. LB had to help out with the ballhandling in Lake Charles. Let's hope he can concentrate on scoring from here on out.

They are going to have to do point guard by committee. This is where you see if Larry Blair is a complete player or not. He has gotta step up and make his teammates better by making plays. Anyone can get 20 ppg if they get over 15 shot attempts a game.

Blair has earned a little love. Not everybody can score 20 points, and I can hold GOAT to single digits right now. (I can say that because I claim him as my recruit back in the old days). Anyway, whoever that genius was who said we might not win a D-1 game all year has forfeited his Prognosticator's Union Card. He (or she) can reapply next year, but this demonstrated lack of wisdom and knowledge will weigh heavily in our decision.
