ESPN had been airing short segments during their college basketball games w/ every DI school. They will list a highlight from each schools history. I saw the Birm. Southern and theirs was a win over a ACC school in their second year going DI.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 14, every ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU men's college basketball telecast will include an ESPNU’s Pride of the Program segment celebrating an historic moment from each of the 326 Division I programs in alphabetical order. From Air Force on November 14 to Youngstown State on March 30, the season-long initiative will offer fans 30-second vignettes looking back at a significant event in each school’s history.
The moments, which will be narrated by the on-site game commentators and may include a combination of video and photography, can be from any time in the history of the program. A list of America East teams with their ESPNU Pride of the Program date is below (specific moments will be announced throughout the season).
Any idea what Libertys will be? I am guessing the first NCAA trip or Dunton's win over UVa.

I'd guess the Carolina game in the Dance. That was an ultra cool game for about 30 minutes.

There might be a chance that they show clips from the time you guys beat HPU by 45 in the Big South championship game...

I thought that might be a possibility but I think it will be the day Scar signed w/ LU!

Well, the only one I can remember are us beating UVA (back when I was at LCA...I remember that being a big deal for like a couple days) and 2004's whippin of High Point in the Big South finals...what I wouldn't give to see us play another game like that in the Vines before I graduate (May 07...if I go to graduate school, May 09)

UVa hadn't lost to a Instate opponent for 30 years and it is a ACC school. Plus I think we had football players on the team that year we were so desperate.

I thought that might be a possibility but I think it will be the day Scar signed w/ LU! Funny. Actually I didn't sign with LU out of high school...I had to walk on so I guess the day the bulb went off in Jeff Meyer's head that told him I was a player was a big day in LU history

I recall when we went to Virginia Tech and beat them... or when we played tight with UNC in the Tournament... (for a little while)

it will be the UNC game. ESPN wants the dramatic stuff, and their love for the ACC im sure will influence their decision.

Hard to pick a loss over anyone as the pride of the program. The victory over UVA was nice but I'm stickin with Freddy's shot over the Mount.

Freddy's shot was my favorite moment, but it wouldn't fit ESPN's format. That shot must have gone 30 feet up in the air ... I get goosebumbs just thinking about it.

I was there for that shot and it was a great moment in our division II history. There is good footage of it too. Maybe ESPN has asked our FTN group for their footage of the best moment in which case I can find out what they will show. If they didn't petition us for footage I would have to assume it is something that was on CBS or ESPN which could mean the Big South Championship 45 point game. That seems like it wouldn't take a lot of work since they produced it. Or it could be the Big South 1994 championship which took a program in its 7th year of division 1 to its first tournament.

So if Winthrop wins a game this March, will they change it in time?

Cool. You knew I would be watching UT take apart Okie State anyway. So now I don't have to go looking for it.

My thoughts exactly Sly - you know I will be tuned in for Pitt vs. Syracuse. For once in my life I will want to watch halftime. I love it when my namesakes share tube time!
