LU getting some help on the way...

There is a local man in town who started a ministry that brings kids from other countries and brings them over to play for Christian schools...He already has placed kids in San Diego (David Jeremiah Sp?) School...He also got a call from Brian Woodson saying that if he doesn't take a kid from where he is playing then the National team is going to pick him up...so he got him in over at LCA and he's by far their best player, Dunks like I've never seen at 17....of course LU has a very good connection with this ministry so they have a good chance to pick up any of the players...he's also looking at a 14 year old who's 6"6' already....i don't know much about this ministry but I'd like to find out b/c it seems very interesting being a Christian Prep School type thing but all over the country

There is a guy down here in Houston who brings over all the top athletes in Jamaica in places them in primarily Christian high schools. The kids have gotten all kinds of football, basketball & track scholarships and sent many to the Olympics.

I don't think David Jeremiah is connected with any schools these days. He used to run Christian Heritage College in San Diego that is now called San Diego Christian College. That's probably the school being referenced.

It can't hurt to have these kids being exposed to our program rigth away when arriving in America. It also will offer easy scouting access for our coaching staffs.
