Megan will be the best player to ever play at Liberty. Yes, even better than Feenstra. She will be the next WNBA player to. She is really that good. I loved Feenstra, but Megan has all the talent you could ever want, she plays like a 5th year senior, and she is only a Freshman.

prototype haven't seen you around here on this board for a while. Yeah Megan definitely has potential to go that far if she chooses. I know that it is a ways away from now but it will be here before we know it.

The reported Firehouse demise of Prototype apparently was greatly exaggerated. Welcome back.

Great to see ya Proto- we hear good things about the recent PR efforts down on the mountain. And yes- I'm hearing from those who know down there that MF is def the bomb. Gonna be Katie part 2. (you can never truly replace someone) great to see LU WBB developing as a dynasty. Winthrop, eat your heart out!

Megan Frazee scored a game-high 29 points and was named N.C. State tournament MVP Sunday.

Good to be back. I have been swamped lately and haven't been able to get on. I love reading everything on here, it really does help understand what the fans want.
Megan is good, and she will only get better. We will never be able to replace Katie, but the Frazee's should help us win 4 more BSC and help Coach Green to continue to pull big time recruits in.

I love ready everything on here, it really does help understand what the fans want. at least, the IMPORTANT fans. Its good to see you have your priorities in line. We appreciated it! didja ever finish the Bball court re-design? Coach Dunton (or someone) mentioned it being re-painted over Christmas break I think? and when can I get LU gear in suburban Philly malls? LOL

Boy did we get lucky in landing the Frazee's. Megan is truly the leader on this team, she plays at a level that I have not seen any freshmen play at before. Nobody this weekend had anything for her, had she not picked up her fourth foul midway through the second half she could have dropped 40 with the way she was shooting the rock. I also think that Moriah has come a very long way. She got her first start yesterday and it's amazing to watch the connection that they both have on the court they know where each other is constantly. Va Tech should be a very good game on Saturday. Who all is planing on going?

I think she could threaten all the LU scoring records if she can keep this up and be injury free for 4 years

I agree that Frazee is great. However I think at this Stage Katie is not the best ever at LU for women. Even though she made it to the pro's I still think Kisseleva was the best ever. She posted 2000 plus points and she played with 2 other scorers in the Wilkerson Twins (although Sara was more of a point guard). Ellena could do everything. I do think Frazee will one day break a ton of records and we will look at her career as the best ever but right now I still give it to Ellena with Katie being right up there with her. Proto see you at the game tomorrow night!

I echo Scar's thoughts. Ellena was so dominating it was ridiculous. That's not a slight at Katie. Its just a statement of how good Ellena was.

On this topic, I'm a Kisselova fan.I agree that she's still LU's best female ever (IMHO). Scar makes good points to justify that. I do agree however that Frazee has the potential to take that nod... we'll just have to see.
To some degree each of our last three types of teams have had unique challenges to them. - Ellena and the twins put us on the map (along with coach Reeves) and started a winning tradition. - Green's first fully recruited team carried a winning tradition and carried us to higher seeds and now a sweet 16. - This new team with freshman triplets has the opportunity to take our program to a whole new level of national success and expectation.
Each of the ladies who lead these groups should both be looked at in terms of history but also in terms of the challenges they faced and the teams they led.

Well we must not forget, Katie didn't have quite as long a career here at LU as Ellena did...wasn't she sidelined by an injury her freshman year or something?

Ellena played in 119 games in her career and Katie played in 109 so that is negligible IMHO. Plus the fact that Ellena had not 1 but 2 other teammates that also scored 1000 plus points! Trust me it is hard to get your scoring average up when you have that many shots being taken by other people. Like it was said earlier, this is no offense to Katie, because she was dominant and had an unbelieveable career but Elena scored 2154 points! That is a ton.
edit: For the record, Katie had 1845.

1845 points divided by 109 games = an average of 16.9 pts per game

Scar -
You make some good points, but I'm holding firm. Kisseleva was a great player, but not in my opinion a pro from the beginning and though she was great - I'm not sure if I ever saw her getting to the next level. I see that with Megan.
Did Kisseleva play against the same elevated competition? I think our schedule wasn't as stacked back then.
I won't see you tomorrow, I'm in Philly visiting a client, but Todd, Daryl and Paul will be holding down the fort.
Court Painting? Don't ask me this now - I'm a bit upset - AGAIN. High School Tournament and Winterfest will make it once a gain impossible to re-paint the court. We will try again this summer:(
Thanks for everyones kind comments - we are trying our hardest to continue to take Liberty to the next level.
