Travis Watson. Do you know if this guy's any good? He's from Flower Mound, Texas so I was wondering if you'd heard of him. Uconn picked him up at WR and I know there's a million Texan recruits and he's not the top but I was just wondering if you knew anything off hand.

Not to speak for him, but this was Sly's comment on the "National Signing Day" thread (over on the football section):
"The Texan is from Flower Mound ... a suburb up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. He wasn't very high profile on the recruiting scene down here so I don't know much about him. Hopefully he's a playa."

Its odd that both UConn & Liberty would sign players from the same school here in Texas. To be honest, I'm not familiar with the guy. Flower Mound is about a 4-hour drive north of where I live in Houston. Its a suburban school that competes on the highest level of Texas football ... 5A.
He didn't get much run down here. But that's no big deal because generally only the top 150 or so are tracked regularly. Every year well over 300 kids in Texas sign Division I-A letters of intent (hundreds more sign I-AA). If he had been a Houston area kid, I could be of more assistance.
