Who Dey? Well, the Steelers cant win every AFC North Championship. I guess I will just have to wear my T-shirt from either 2004, 2001, 1998, 1995, 1994, 1992.....

Well, at least it seems you're already starting to get used to living in the past, so this transition shouldn't seem as painful to you as it will the rest of the steeler fans. This is not a flash in the pan as the defense is getting better every week. Just think what 1 more draft and Madeau Williams healthy will do for us. (I hate to be looking ahead to next season but as a Bengals fan, old habbits are hard to break.)

That 'Whodey' video is as lame as the old 'Bears Shuffling Crew'. But if the Bengals make their third trip to the Super Bowl, we will be overwhelmed by its presence.
I still have my 'Whodey' gear from the '89 season buried in one of my drawers.

LUConn - it is great to meet the official greeter of the Cincinnati Bengal's Bandwagon Club.
All joking aside, it is good to see this franchise coming back to life. The Browns are showing signs of life and Baltimore won't be down for long, so you could see the AFC North being the premier division in the AFC.

Well, it kinda stinks as I'd hate to miss the playoffs with an actual good team. But the Browns are looking pretty good.
On a side note, I will go on a rampage if I get called a bandwagoner after having endured the bottom 5 in the league for 15 of my 23 years of existance. Add in the fact that I probably didn't understand football until I was 5, I've had maybe 3 years of fandom where I didn't get made fun of.

Didnt know you were tried and true Bengal Fan (the LUconn handle kind of threw me off) - arent there only like 5 of you in existence?
Oh and the whole "living in the past" - the Steelers have a pedigree of winning that include 4 Bowl Victories, 5 AFC conference championship and too many division championships to name - not to mention more playoff wins than wins the Bengals have had in the last 3 seasons. The Bengals can have the division this year, but dont start saying how much better your team is than ours until the playoffs. I have a strange feelings our paths may cross.....

congrats to the bengals, but as a steelers fan, i would love to meet them again in the playoffs. the bengals heads are getting a bit big, and the steelers will bring them back to earth. cincy is just a bit too mouthy for my taste. they are full of talent, and have proven themselves worthy.

While I obviously think the Bengals are better, I think if I were to build a team who's sole purpose in life was to beat the Bengals, I would have in front of me the Steelers. A good defense who won't let our offense go crazy, a pound it in the face run game, and a QB who doesn't make mistakes. If any of those 3 were different, I'd want to see the Steelers any day of the week. But they're not so I'd rather play anybody else.

Now you know how we feel about New England. New England is able to shut down our run game and drop 10 people in coverage in obvious passing downs to confuse Ben. When they are on defense, it is like there are 15 of them on the field. On offense, they pick up every blitz and torch our secondary since we can't generate any pressure. I HATE them SO MUCH!
Go JAX! They are on a collision course to meet NE in the Wildcard round. Looks like the Stillers will get Who Dey. Won't that be fun! I hope LUconn's fears will be realized!

John Clayton, ESPN "Jacksonville used to be a dreaded division rival of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the old AFC Central. The Jaguars, then an expansion team built by Tom Coughlin, modeled their whole talent acquisition program to try to catch and beat the Steelers. Well, as fate would turn out, the Steelers are the biggest Jaguar fans in the world. A weird wild-card glitch has the Steelers wanting the Jags to win out and be the fifth seed, which goes to the wild-card team with the best record. If the Steelers end up in a three-way tie with the Jaguars and Chargers at 11-5, the Steelers would be eliminated from the playoffs. The Jaguars are struggling to beat bad teams... look no further than Sunday's 10-9 win over the 49ers. They finish with the Texans and the Titans, teams that are a combined 6-22. A loss to one could foil the Steelers' bid for a wild card because in a three-way tie, the Steelers, since they have five AFC losses, would be nudged out. Even though the Steelers beat the Chargers and have a tie-breaker against them in a two-way wild-card tie, the Steelers need the Jaguars to go 12-4 to give them a better chance of making the playoffs."

"Unbandwagony" - my new favorite word!
I am rooting hard for KC on Christmas weekend. Arrowhead is a hard place to play and I dont know if they have it in them two weeks in a row. Jax should win out - but, fingers are crossed.

The Texans have a history of keeping the Jags out of the playoffs. I talked to the players today and they believe they can win Saturday at Reliant.

Those two games for Jax makes me nervous. You always throw out record in conference. The way Jax played against SF makes me really scared. I am just hoping for a SD loss at KC. Thats a tough place to play and consecutive road games plus the fact that KC must win or be completely out......
Any way you slice it - this year has been exciting!
