Yea it's a really crappy situation. He's a great guy and a great player--would have been a real asset this year. He could get the tumor back at any time apparently, and although it wasn't cancerous to my knowledge-it was damaging his spine from what I heard.

I'm very glad the young man evidently made a very hard decision w/ his head and not his heart: contrary to how we act on here sometimes, there IS more to life than sports. Literally LIVING, actually!
