Tomorrow night on the Sportsbreak, we are going to play Part 1 of our two part interview that we did with Sam this past week. Very impressive drive, since ReShard Lee fumbled on the opening drive don't be surprised to not see Sam for the bulk of the game now.

What a game. For those who didn't see the game Sam got a lot of props from the announcers. The annoncer couldn't believe thay he did that he didn't start at "Liberty College" but was playing in the pros. They also said that they ate lunch w/ him and he was so polite. After he scored his TD he thanked all of the OL.

I think it speaks volumes of Karcher's tenure that of our talented running backs, the only one with a pro career was the one that New Coke used the least.

Chris Berman gave Sam a nickname....In Gado we Trust! That must make him feel good.

Actually, that is riding very close to taking His name in vain. But I hear you.

At Liberty they his nickname was oh my Gado. I think that is more along the lines of name in vain.

From the Packers website. www.packers.com/news/stories/2005/11/06/3/The Packers finally punched it in when Samkon Gado scored his first career touchdown from a yard out with 7:26 left in the third quarter, cutting Pittsburgh's lead to 13-10. Gado's 62 yards on 26 carries were a season high for the Packers, who are averaging a franchise-worst 72 yards per game. The Packers, who have been hobbled by a spate of serious injuries, were down to their fifth-string running back in Gado, who had just one carry before the game, after Tony Fisher (bruised ribs) was deactivated and ReShard Lee fumbled it away on his second carry.

I think oh my gado is more like making fun of taking it in vain. Which is the opposite of bad, right? Chris Behrman is annoying. His nicknames were funny the first time he did them 6 or 7 years ago. But they've been dumb every week since then.

Sam's Green Bay page on Fox Sports (never had occasion to visit it before today) here's a synopsis: the heading actually showed 27 carries for 70 yds (?)

All of a sudden I'm a Packers fan. (I've always hated them before, but now I've got a team to root for!)

Glad to see him do well - and the Steelers win! I made sure everyone at the Steeler Party knew he was from Liberty University and a fellow alum! BTW, his number is in honor of Christian Okoye - good role model, as long as he wouldnt disappear at the end of his career or this season for that matter.

On ESPN's Cold Pizza 1st and 10, in talking about the NFL's most suprising team brought up Sam Gado. They basically said who would have thunk that a guy from LU would make it to the NFL and score a TD. Any publicity is good publicity.
