Great for him! its not uncommon for guys to get signed by another club while on a practice squad. I know the Eagles just lost a guy that way- forget who or to whom, but I don't think there are any restrictions- you can go with whomever wants you and get another shot.

I hope that we see Sam on the field in some games in the next couple years--he's not only a really talented guy, but a really awesome Christian guy as well. He deserves nothing but the best. I'd rather play for the Packers anyway. (maybe not this season...

The box score showed Sam with one carry for 8 yards. Not a lot of reps but a great average per carry.

Anyway- getting back on track here: for those who get the Nat'l Liberty Journal- a nice write up on page LU7 (college section) about Sam, written by a ALAN GOFORTH (pen name anyone?) of a Veritas Communications.
He was still w/ KC at the time it was written, so its a bit dated, but interesting non-the less. I was struck by his admiration for Coach K- Sam talked him up to be a world beater. The best quote is at the bottom of column #1:

Check out what they say down in the Steelers/Packers matchup about Gado. And this is from Brandt who was the scouting guru for the cowboys in their glory days.
Steelers at Packers: Heath Miller has been the big story for Pittsburgh's offense. Last year, Pittsburgh's starting TE caught only nine passes all season. Miller already has six TD catches. ... QB Ben Roethlisberger is 9-0 on the road, with nine TD passes in his past six road games. ... For Green Bay, keep an eye on RB Samkon Gado, who was signed two weeks ago off Kansas City's practice squad. Gado is a native of Nigeria who was an undrafted college free agent from Liberty. He can run and is a pretty good receiver. Don't be surprised to hear people talking about this guy on Sunday night. ... QB Brett Favre might have a tough time here, as the line will have trouble protecting him.
He had an 8 yard carry last week. He might get a couple more this week.
