Seldom in recent years have we gone into a game carrying more emotions onto the field. Obviously, the coaching staff faces the challenge of doing their jobs while worrying about tomorrow Then the players enter carrying the disappointment of a season of losing that resulted in the coaches losing their jobs. That's a terrible feeling many of us have felt before. And the there are the seniors who don't want to end their collegiate careers riding a 10-game losing streak. Let's send everybody out on a high note. As I mentioned in the other thread, I'm out of pocket at a family wedding today. But everybody possible that's not in Norfolk, please meet at this thread. As usual, you can listen to Jerry Edwards' call using this link: boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/liberty/8286/32_liberty

URR!!!! but NSU could have been up a little more if it weren't for special team's problems on their part.

A very fitting way to end the Karcher era. Losing to a team as bad as Norfolk State just portrays how bad we have gotten and all the crap we as fans had to put up with these 6 years.

I went to the game, just too many mistakes (turnovers, dropped passes, bad throws, missed blocks, etc). Game started great but slipped away. A couple of injuries of interest were Terrell appeared to have a heavily taped ankle and did not play in the second half. He got hammered a couple of times in the first half. Luck injured his knee and was on crutches on the sideline late in the game. Hopefully, it is not too serious.

The good news is that the pain is over. With everythign else we have swirling around the program right now, the sooner we put this season to bed the better.

Pretty much what I was thinking when I posted above. I could have given examples and mentioned plays but no point in it. This season is done. Find a coach and get ready for next year.

PA atleast Greiser scored a TD I was gonna ask- but figured I'd check the box scores and like everyone else- let this season fade away. Too bad for Ryan that TD didn't come about 5 games earlier! Only the first of many- I'm sure.
