Okay, I don't want this to be negative. But yesterday I went to the women's basketball game...and the girl taking ticket stubs inside the gate had an SMU Mustangs shirt on (and the girls were PLAYING SMU) I've never noticed this before...maybe I'm missing something...but if this was a Liberty workstudy person or volunteer...shouldn't they be wearing Liberty shirts...or at least red ones... I can't imagine this happening anywhere else. This was a HOME game...c'mon. Other than that, go FLAMES... (I mean, I could be missing something...since there were SMU fans there, maybe they had someone collecting their ticket stubs...maybe someone in the know can fill me in). Other than that, go FLAMES.

Hmm... I didn't see anybody wearing a SMU shirt while collecting ticket stubs because I went to the game yesterday as well. But that is very interesting and strange.

I personally volunteer to come down for the drawing and quartering, or tarring and feathering- you guys chose. INEXCUSABLE.
And if you don't get those references, take HIST 101 again

sportscritic...which line did you go through...the girl was wearing a grey t-shirt or sweatshirt that said Mustangs in purple...she was at the door closest to the ticket window on the right...there were at least two other students taking tickets at the center doors right next to the door on the right...
PAMedic...I know, I should have asked her for her name...I was just so shocked...
Not that I want to get her in trouble, but she should be told not to do that...everyone taking ticket stubs should be told not to do that.

I'm going to find out about this but before I make an idiot of myself could it have been that she was a Will Call worker or something? Doesnt make sense, since no SMU grads come to mind on staff

That's kind of funny. I saw some stuff similar to that at Coastal. Not really the same thing but people wearing South Carolina and Clemson stuff to our football games. Then I remember at the JMU game (our home opener) some of the Sigma girls wore purple dresses because their colors are purple. The thing is, we were playing JMU who's main color was purple.

Maybe a SMU student didn't have money to get into the game so they let her work for her ticket?
No it is a little odd. How many SMU fans are around here anyway? I think the tar and feather is a must

HoldMyOwn - there were some SMU fans at the game...so maybe they had some kind of will call worker and that's what she was? But she was taking tickets right alongside of the main gate...you know howere there are like 4 glass doors to the left of the ticket window as you come in. Most people go through the two main doors in the middle. but there is also a door to the left and a door to the right. She was taking tickets on the door at the right, the one closest to the ticket window.

jimflamesfan, I went through the main entrance or the doors closest to the ticket window. Did I miss something?

She was at the main entrance...but looking at that main entrance, I think there are 4 doors...most people go through the two doors in the middle...and I think there was a guy there with at red shirt, and another girl (I can't remember what she was wearing)...and two turnstyles.
Right next to those two doors in the middle on the right...the door closest to the ticket window...that's where I went in, and that's where she was.
It would be hard to notice because it was a grey shirt, and it was just screenprinted with SMU Mustangs in purple. You wouldn't notice it unless she took your ticket.
Jim.

I am a student at LU so I got in with my student ID. But that is mighty strange having some SMU official taking tickets at LU.
