So its too late ... they already indoctrinated you. Too bad. Like they always say, there's no such thing as an ex-aggy. BY the way, I know Aggy education is a little backwards but it is the University of Texas. But as an alum of Texas Agricultural & Mechanical you probably already knew that. That's why 3 out of every 4 lines in the Aggy War HYmn are about that school over in Austin. I ran highlights of the Aggy victory in the NIT the other night and there were the cult members, er, fans singing about sawing Varsity's horns off after beating Clemson. Huh? Come to think of it, I can see many parallels between aTm and BJU. Thankfully, you did emerge from the metropolis of B/CS to some enlightenment in Lynchburg. For the record, I ate at Freebirds the other night (thank you Steve McKinney of the Texans for building them down here in Houston). But I draw the line at Wings & More. That's just for RC's "dates".

Parkesburg is on the far western edge of Chester County...about a mile further on 30 and you'd be in Lancaster county.
By the way, I'm a pastor in a small church in Northwestern Chester Co.
And Sly Fox's post earlier was a "t-sips" response to an Aggies reply earlier. Just a part of Texan culture, the rivalry between the "t-sips and Aggies"

Cool, another budding journalist in our midst.
For the record, I was in Dorm 25 its first two years in existence before they gave it to the girls prior to my junior year.
And t-sip may be the lamest smack I've ever heard from any school. You never did tell me where you went to HS, Zack. And where is your dad coaching right now?

Sly, I went to a 3A school in Orangefield,TX...My dad is coaching at Silsbee High School now...he's coached at Pottsboro,San Saba, Orangefield and now in Silsbee
i just wish that LU had as much tradition as t.u. and A&M....maybe its just the rivalry but, the tradition sticks with you, trust me, my wife just loves watching sports with me!!!! ;D

So did you pole vault, Zack?
San Saba? That is DEEP Hill Country. Serious hunting territory. Tommie Lee Jones has a ranch up there.
Your dad had quite a specimen playing for him in Morrissey. When I was doing the high school show at my old station across town here in Houston we used to run Silsbee highlights.
Gotta love that Golden Triangle. I work with Randy McIlvoy who used to do sports in Beaumont when you would've been there.
Small world.

Pastor Zach, I live in Parkesburg too. Moved here two years ago from Harrisburg. Lived on campus at LU from '83 till '93.
Prediction: UT gets one loss and then plays PSU in BCS bringing good times on this board for sure.

I knew you would find this and reply Smoothie. Hilarious. Can't wait to see you at the UVA game my friend. And you get to stay in the Toomer Suite (my guest room) at Stately Scarborough Manor (PaMedic's knickname for my house). Hopefully Gillen will be there and I will introduce you. You are probably not a fan of his but you are a Cavs fan so I guess that is worth something. BTW I assume you will be rooting for the Flames on the 18th?

Two posters on our board from the same dinky town in Pennsylvania? Wow!
As for Longhorns taking a loss before the Rose Bowl, its not happening. Although embarassing that cranky, bitter old man in Happy Valley would be sweet.

Maybe the cranky bitter old man can show the horns how to win the big one. And I'm not talking the Texas fair.

Hey, my turn. Settle back and get to know the Super one.
I'm SuperJon. Yes, people honestly know me in real life by that name. There are 2A high school baseball coaches across the state of NC that know me as SuperJon, as well as little kids back home who I worked with.
I graduated from West Stokes High School in good ole King, NC in 04. King's right up the road from Winston-Salem. Because I am stupid and let a pretty girl and a chance to play in a band get in my way, I was stuck at Surry CC for a year. Surry CC is in Dobson, NC, right next to the real life Mayberry (Mt. Airy). I'm now supposed to be a sophomore at Coastal Carolina but some credits got screwed up so I'm technically a freshman. I like to call myself a freshmore.
I'm majoring in Sport Management.
I'm the new resident idiot. Don't believe me? Ask Sly or ATrain, they know me from the Coastal boards.
I've only been to LU once but I loved it and I'm comin back next weekend.
My butt itches. Bad.
I'm hungry too but I'm too lazy to cook.
My goal in life is to be in a band that's decent and just has a good time and makes other people have a good time as well.
I do computer graphics when I'm bored. My signature and Sly's signature are examples. If you want one, IM me or PM me and I'll hook ya up.
I'm really hungry.
My grandpa's a preacher. I've been raised in church my entire life. He's on the state board for Western North Carolina Church of God (that's the denomination, not the WNC part, the Church of God part. Follow me? Awesome).
I've thought about double majoring in journalism or communications. I covered my high school baseball team for the newspaper back home last year. I also did the PA announcing for them, including game 2 of the Western Finals where I announced in front of over 1100 people. That's a big deal to an 18 year old. I'm 19 now and it's still a big deal.
I think I've told you almost my entire life story. I'm still a new member but I can guarantee it won't take long for me to get that post count up. You can see by some of the stupid stuff I've started already.

So we have a Bible Baptist in our presence ... that school used to claim Dr. J but I believe those days are long gone. My dad is a Tennessee Temple alum/longtime GARB pastor who now is at a SBC churcgh here in Texas.
The thing I like best is no longer being the oldest guy on the board. ;D

I'm a student too. I'm a sophomore but I'm the age of a freshman? Confused? I started school when I was 4. I graduated at 17. I just turned 19 last month.

I think Brock Smith's little cousin (Auntie Anne's son) posted on here before so he may be officially the youngest poster. SJ you are a funny guy and I enjoy reading your stuff...Good luck with the Sports Management and the Journalism things. You may end up being a Liberty Flames fan hanging out on this board and visiting the school...We have a few Pennsylvanians on here don't we? Bald Spot and I go way back to the Dorm 8 days and Medic and I played high school ball against each other and of course there is Pastor Zach, Aunt Ann and myself although I have lived in different parts of VA since graduation in 91. Sly, you need to get some more Texans. You do have FormerPlayer and GOAT on your side though.

From the people I've met at Liberty I don't mind pulling for you guys at all, except when you play Coastal. The way I was treated when I went up there for the football game made me like you guys.
