Come on, spies. Coach can't tell us directly. We need to find out who else we now have on the way.

Did some research: 1) Ricky Jackson (6-6, 200) F, OH 2) Armon Jones (6-8, 250) F-C, GA transfers: 3) Alex McLean (6-7, 235) F, NY 4) Dwight Brewington (6-5, 185) G, MA
Nice to see us going after some bigger guys

Ricky is not happening. Armon is in the house. McLean & Brewington are the transfers. Coach's comments indicated perhaps someone else. Or I may be reading too much into it.

Let me just tell yall this, i was nervous losing such great coach's like we did, but we may have in fact improved...with coach Alexis already showing is recruiting abilities (Dwight credits Alexis to a big reason why he chose LU) and all of the other coach's knowledge and recruiting abilities, we're in for some great things in the years to come

I think Coach may have been referring to Alex McLean. I am still on an emotional high from that game last night! So proud of Larry and I am happy for the Flames. Big win.

Indeed you are correct sir, D was referring to Alex and Dwight, those are the only guys as of right now But Dees has been using his "Phone a Friend" option lately talkin about how he not only wishes he was still at LU but thinking about transferring....I really doubt that would happen since he'd lose a year by doing that

Its funny you should mention David ... I was scanning the crowd at McNeese looking to see if he dropped by. He is in school about an hour away from Lake Charles. But i didn't see him there.

Flamesfan710 you and I have crossed paths before so no formal intro's are in order but I look forward to talking with you on Saturday night. It IS a shame about Radford being over break and it is a shame they missed that performance by Larry last night. That is something quite frankly that I will always remember...As far as shouts, I plan on talking a little about this board and some of you guys at some point but I will wait for the appropriate time. So many other things to cover and talk about during a telecast but you guys are on my mind and I really appreciate you all watching! Even the boys down there at Winthrop, realist and WEF sound like they have tuned in... As for Dees, well I wish he would have stayed in the first place and as I told him back in early 2005, I thought he should stay but I will support him and wish him much success. I wouldn't mind seeing him come back but he would lose a year for nothing. Actually I think if he came back now he could be just like Dwight Brewington meaning he would sit out this sememster and next and be ready by Christmas....But I don't think it will happen.

Just got off the phone with Alex. He confirmed to me he committed a couple of weeks ago. He played at Suffolk County CC in New York and is sitting out this season. He'll enroll at LU soon. He was offered a skolly at SE Missouri put it was pulled at the last minute when SEMO picked up another kid from Oklahoma.
Will be in a story in the Friday fishwrap.

I tuned in and enjoyed the broadcast...now only if every other team in the country (or at least in the league) can have a professionally produced television broadcast of every home game presented live on the internet for free. Very solid job by the whole crew. I look forward to watching some more games when I get the chance. I always like to catch the Big South conference games when I can (living in Charleston now, I can't make it to as many Winthrop games as I used to, but at least CSU is right down the road), so this is an excellent feature.

Scar, I enjoyed it as well. I try to catch other big south games when possible. Nice Torrell reference.

Alex McLean should be able to contribute next season in the paint. Realist, thanks for tuning in. I knew you would remember that Winthrop reference. I talk about the Big South players a lot actually. Tune in on Saturday night and I should have some more nuggets and comparisons to bring to light. Nice to know Big South people are tuning in. I wish the Commissioners office would watch so they can see they need to use me for their telecasts! Oh well.

funny Medic! With the way I fell off your Christmas card list so fast, I am not sure. You are treading on Thin Ice. Right now your reservation is in the basement (we don't have a basement) but you may move up to the main level if you behave the next few weeks....I am emailing and hitting people on Facebook trying to rally people to tune in or come in Person for this game on Saturday. If it is anything like Tuesday, we are in for a real treat.

We may be in for a treat, All Radford has to do is take away Larry and we are done. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

That's all they have to do? Wow, it's just that easy. And because they're so deep past WHF and Oliver themselves, they'll have plenty of other scoring options if we try that same technique! We better tell Hubbard and Smith to get back in their shell.

1st of all I qualified my statement by saying if it is like last Tuesday, then we will be in for a real treat. Second of all this is not a one man team. This group is going to come together and they are getting better everyday IMHO. I do think that Larry is playing as well as any guard in the program's history right now and it is not just scoring. Anyway BigSmooth I did catch the Stephen A reference on your profile :-)

www.libertyflames.com/mbball Click on WATCH HOME GAMES LIVE and you should get it to work. You have to pick high or low speed depending on if your connection is dial up or broadband.

Kudos to whoever got the television broadcasts up on the web. It was a pleasure ... even if we did have to endure Scar glossing his friendship with Gillen over and over again.

Funny Sly! You are in the business as well and self promotion is not a bad thing. Allying myself in terms of broadcasting with Pete makes a lot of sense. BTW Sly, I would do the same thing when and if YOU get a chance to visit. We can put you on for a guest spot as a Liberty grad in the business...I think we should actually archive the telecasts so people can go see them anytime and not just when it is on live! How many folks would go back and watch that performance by Larry? I would bet a ton and we could really start to sell the add space on that site to raise money for the athletic department. Maybe El Scorcho can make that happen.

Perhaps someone could edit down all his shots into one clip it could be a managable file size that could be downloaded easily. Just a thought. As for my presence in Lynchburg, the earliest I can make the trip is March (which is a distinct possibility). By then we'll already be in the Big Dance.

I watched the Radford game on my computer, but I may need more instruction - I could not make the picture fill up, my screen. Anyway, SCAR, I thought you did a great job. Let's see, you have said that PAmedic was Skating (treading) on thin ice, and then made that crack about the "brothers" and hockey. Very humerous. Go Flames!
