you guys are nuts. SC makes it 3 straight I think that its not a three-peat til they do three straight undisputed national titles and the first one was a spilt title with LSU

I don't even see how that was split. LSU won the BCS which all of the conferences agreed would determine the ficticious national champion. Who cares if USC was 1 in the AP. That was a pity vote anyway.
As for this year, I've never like Texas and I don't like anything that makes Texans head any bigger than they already are but this USC hype machine is out of control. They're doing matchups on ESPN everyday with USC vs every national champion for the last 15 years and guess who seems to win every game? I think it'd just be spectacular if they didn't even win it all this year. So I guess, Go Tejas.

im sickof espn and this poll they are doing. i just want a good game. i like how USC has a lot of fun, and the atmosphere at their practices, but i love vince young as well, and USC's AP championship two years ago was a mercy gift. they are going for two straight, but it's not gonna happen....HOOK EM!

I agree that a lot of writers voted USC bnumber one two years ago because they were protesting the faulty BCS system. But they did have an argument nonetheless especially with OU getting the chance to play for the title instead of the Trojans.

no kissing up to sly here. i want a new champion. USC has not seen a defense like texas. im hoping good defense can beat the explosive trojnas. i like both teams, but i want to see vince hoist the trophy!

Has there ever been a play-by-play man in the history of the Rose Bowl who is more of a homer? Somebody put Keith out to pasture. He's embarassing himself.
Oh yeah, Hook Em!

Tuned in at the start of the 2nd half. If I'm coaching I just run Vince Young every play. SC is completely unable to stop him- what a horse!

Reggie Bush soaring into the endzone 5' off the ground is possibly one of the most amazing things I've seen.
Like a young Randall Cunningham.

This kid is a super athlete among super athletes. He made those TX defenders look like they were jogging and then the jump!!! WOW!!!!! This is turning into a great game. Medic how about PSU getting #3 overall!?! Nice.

That dive is going to be Reggie Bush's trademark. Half of his highlights scoring into the endzone has him diving.

I just changed up the spelling. Made it slang. I'm from the ghetto. Ok, maybe not. Just felt like a change, that's what I love about Proboards.

Looks like we have a good ending on our hands.
You know, what's with these I-A kickers missing all these kicks? I may have asked this already but I'm dumb and can't remember and too lazy to look. I know for a fact that Josh Hoke could make all of these missed kicks on a consistent basis.
